Before the arrival of his new album, Madben drops a series of singles from it; the first is 'Circuit Breaker' with a remix from Avision.

Techno innovator Madben grew up in the north of France and has always brought a 90s style and DIY culture to his music. His sound is inspired by nights spent at Brussels' Fuse club and in abandoned factory parties. His debut LP arrived on Astropolis in 2018, and he has seen EPs on Bedrock & of course Ellum Audio. His forthcoming album mixes up acid, electro, techno and more and is another accomplished work from this vital scene mainstay.

This first single, ‘Circuit Breaker’ is an atmospheric cut defined by squelchy acid moodiness. The rusty synths speak of an abandoned warehouse as the crisp boom-bap drums power along the groove. It's a raw sonic world with plenty of atmosphere and signature Madben sound designs.

American remixer Avision released his debut LP on this label and is at the heart of the new school techno scene. His version of 'Circuit Breaker' is lit up with subtle trance synths, the drums hit harder and the nimble bass keeps you on the move as you cruise through cosmic worlds.
'Circuit Breaker' is a tantalising window into the full length to come.
